Texting Competion

I just came across a small article that talked about a texting competition that was held and the winner would be determined by writing the longest word they could think of in the shortest time. Well, there isn't a lot of information, but it says that a thirteen year old girl in Pasadena won $25,000 by texting:

"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from "Mary Poppins" in 15 seconds.

I thought that was pretty amazing.

I also read about a teacher who sprinkled cow urine in hopes to purify students and drive away the evil. That was interesting to read.

Last post ever for "Kid Nation"!!!

The last episode finally came for this show. It ended up the way I expected and, overall, the show was OK. It was kind of boring actually now that I think about it.

Well, the golden stars were worth 50,000 dollars this time and three kids won them. Two of them did already get the 20,000 dollar stars before in the show and my mom was complaining about that a lot because she thinks that new kids should get it instead of the same ones. I guess I can understand why they got it since they were very good workers and dedicated.

They had to do one last ch allege which was to clean up the whole town following instructions placed in various areas. In the end, you start to realize that they were preparing for a picnic and all the parents came, so that was a nice and touching moment.

I'm kind of glad this show ended because it was distracting me from my homework, so that is a relief. I was actually addicted to a book series which was about vampires and the same thing happened with that, and I slacked off on my school work :D.
